Into the Weekend - July 23rd, 2021

TGIF. The weekend is here! It looks like we might want to take a moment to chill out before the 100-degree days arrive next week. 😎   In this week's letter, I've included some local happenings, our team's latest video, and my usual market musings. Hope that you have a wonderful weekend. -Matt Local Happenings Retro Expo at Plano Event Center Celebration of all things retro and fun will feature dealers of retro-inspired, vintage, and antique toys, comic books, video games, VHS tapes, vinyl records, buttons, t-shirts and apparel, board and role playing games, and all kinds of pop culture memorabilia. North Texas Vehicle Adventure Kids and anyone else fascinated by big trucks and trailers will want to check out this event.  Many different U-Haul trucks and trailers — along with fire trucks and other emergency vehicles from the city of Plano — will be available for photos and educational opportunities.  Attendees will have a chance to participate in a hands-on activity. Farmers Market at the Boardwalk I've been really into the idea of farmer's markets lately.  The Boardwalk also has one every Sunday where you can get fresh produce, homemade goods, and more.  Located in Plano at the Boardwalk Pavilion Our Most Recent Video Edgestone at Legacy Community Tour I recently had a fun community tour with my teammate, Natalia, where we toured her community in Frisco.  It's a beautiful neighborhood and a fun video to watch.  Edgestone is one of the few neighborhoods in Frisco with upcoming new construction. Matt's Market Minute It's really good to be a Seller in today's market, namely because buyers are competing for your home.  And this isn't just a local trend, it's a national trend which you can see in the infographic below.
