Into the Weekend - July 1st, 2022

Happy Fourth of July! The weekend is here and what a weekend it will be.  I love that Fourth of July is a big deal in Texas.  There are great events throughout the metroplex this weekend.   Whether you're staying in or venturing out,  I hope that this is a great holiday weekend for you and your family.  -Matt Happy 4th of July Local Happenings Independence Day Celebration  Start the 4th of July weekend off with a bang this Saturday, July 2nd at Klyde Warren Park. The celebration begins at 7pm with Fourth of July treats and sampling goodies from a variety of vendors and enjoying live music and other great family activities  leading up to a grand fireworks show. Saturday, July 2nd 7:00PM - 10:00PM Frisco Freedom Fest - July 3rd - 4th Don't miss Frisco's once-in-a-year chance to celebrate our nation's birthday with food, great music and  fireworks! The festival starts Sunday, July 3rd and has a full schedule of events each day. There will be fun and exciting activities for everyone. Check out all the full schedule. Plano's All American 4th & Fireworks Pack your blanket and pick your spot! Plano's All American 4th is back. T here will be vendors, food, a  kids' zone, static parade from Rotary Parades of Plano and...of course, fireworks! Gates open at 6 p.m. and fireworks begin at 9:30.  Monday, July 4, from 6 to 10 pm! Independence Fest in Flower Mound Flower Mound is hosting free, fun-for-all Fourth of July during the town's annual Children's Parade and Independence Fest event. Free hot dogs will be provided by Summit Club of Flower Mound, along with drinks, activities for kids and live entertainment.
