Into the Weekend - June 30th, 2023

Happy Independence Day! This is one of my favorite holidays. And the holiday falls on a Tuesday this year, I suspect you'll be enjoying a nice four-day weekend. Given the patriotic nature of North Texas, there is an abundance of events available this weekend. The Allen Philharmonic Winds presents Patriotic Salute Celebrate Independence Day at Watters Creek with a free program as the Allen Philharmonic Winds presents a Patriotic Salute! Enjoy a lively mixture of marches and classic Americana melodies. Come meet multiple Military Support Groups who will be in attendance. Crafts for children will be on property. Friday, June 30th 7-8:30 PM Red White and Blue Featuring Coffey Anderson Celebrate America’s birthday with Mr. Red White & Blue presented by Choctaw Casinos & Resorts! Coffey Anderson returns to the Grandscape Stage on Monday, July 3 for a special Independence Day concert, followed by our FREE Red, White & BOOM fireworks show to end the night! Monday, July 3rd 7PM-10PM Frisco Freedom Fest @ Frisco Square Fun starts at 4 p.m. with the Party in the Plaza and runs through the fireworks hosted by the City of Frisco, FC Dallas, and CoServ. Foodies will enjoy the  Taste of Frisco. The skies will light the night with a 20-minute show after the FC Dallas game. Tuesday, July 4th 4PM - 10PM Plano’s All American 4th Celebrate Independence Day at Plano’s All American 4th on Tuesday, July 4! The festival opens at 6 p.m., the parade starts at 7:30 p.m., and fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. The festival ends at 10 p.m. Parking will be available at Collin College, 2800 E. Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75074. Tuesday, July 4th 6PM-10:30PM
