Into the Weekend - May 27th, 2022

We made it to the weekend - and it's a holiday weekend at that!  This weekend marks Memorial Day, a day for remembrance and honoring our fallen heroes.  It also happens to be the unofficial start of summer.  Though, I think this month's warmer temps kicked off summer a little early this year.   This weekend, I hope you'll find a way to cool off - perhaps at a pool party or at the movie theater (watching the new Top Gun movie, of course).  Whatever you're up to this weekend, I wish you a great one. -Matt In Remembrance of our heroes this Memorial Day Early Observances of Memorial Day The Civil War, which ended in the spring of 1865, claimed more lives than any conflict in U.S. history and required the establishment of the country’s first national cemeteries.  By the late 1860s, Americans in various towns and cities had begun holding springtime tributes to these countless fallen soldiers, decorating their graves with flowers and reciting prayers.
