Into the Weekend - September 17th, 2021

Happy Friday y'all 😎! I hope that you're wrapping up a wonderful week.  With the weather cooling (ever so slightly) I've been enjoying a little extra time outside.  This weekend presents some nice opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors.  I've included just a few below. Are you getting ready for the State Fair?  it starts in only one week. I included a preview of some of the fair's newest food items, along with my usual market musings. This time: some myth-busting for home buyers.  I think you'll be surprised. Whatever you're up to.  I hope that you have a great weekend.    -Matt Local Happenings Vandell Andrew live in Downtown Plano Join the world class artist, musician and saxophonist Vandell Andrew in historic Downtown Plano on September 17th. Doors will open at 7pm. Show starts at 8pm Market at The Star Shop the free outdoor market in Frisco at The Star. This pop-up event will have fashion, jewelry, home décor and other unique lifestyle goods. Plano Balloon Festival - Run/Walk Unfortunately, the balloon festival is off - but the Runs are not!  There are multiple event options ranging from the 1K fun run/walk to the 10K run.  There is a complementary breakfast as well.  Register by Saturday evening, races on on Sunday, September 19th.
